Scottish Terrier or "Scottie" is what folds call me. I have a strong character as you will soon see. Movie Stars, Disney and Monopoly too, I'm
high on the list of doggie who's who. Determined am I, I never give up. I've been this way since I was a pup. "Diehard" is the nickname that I
have been given. I'm feisty and quick, I'm curious and driven. Sometimes I'm sensitive and I act like a baby. Then stubborn I'll be, no if's,
and's or mayby's. Being firm but gentle is the discipline key to let me know what you expect of me. Lovable and loyal, protective am I. I'm
dominating and distant I won't deny. I'm usually quiet and I don't bark a lot. Suspicious of strangers, so friendly I'm not. I like to dig holes out
in the ground. Vermin like to hide and that's were they're found. Introduce me early to your other pets. So we'll get along swell and there will
be not regrets. I'm medium sized, 10 to 11 inches tall. I'm 18 to 21 pounds, not big, not small. Black, brindle, wheaten or gray, a small bit of
white on my chest is OK. My hair coat is broken, both wiry and soft, long on bottom and short on the top. I have a long beard and my ears
stand erect. My head is held high, my attitude is in check. Watch out for my health, there's things you should know. Bladder cancer may
possibly be my worst foe. Look out for Scottie Cramp or Von Willebrand Disease. Potential problems can be detected with ease. My lifespan
is usually 11 to 13 years long. I'm spirited, steady, tough and strong. I'll be a good dog and at the end of the day, I'll lie down beside you or
maybe we'll play.
